Our Next Event: "Through the Keyhole!"
eFlute presents… Through the Keyhole!
Who Flutes in a place like this?
eFlute’s next offering is a week-long online flute course with a twist!
A parody of the much-loved British TV show 'Through the Keyhole', this upcoming event promises to be a lot of fun! A video will be released each morning and you have until the evening to guess the identity of our Mystery Flute Celebrity Guest - who will then reveal themselves and spend some time with us answering questions and sharing fluting tips!
Not only that, there are daily zoom warm-ups and interactive workshops - a mini flute intensive suitable for all. Despite being online, it’s very much a flutes-out experience! All ages and standards are welcome.
The ‘live’ event dates are July 21-27th (timings UK BST) but all content will be recorded and made available for 30 days, so you can watch anywhere in the world at your leisure throughout the summer. Scroll down to view the schedule.
Tickets are now on sale at the bargain price of £35

Through the Keyhole is a British comedy panel gameshow, originally presented by Sir David Frost in the studio and Lloyd Grossman on location. The location presenter explores celebrities' houses and a panel of other celebrities in the studio try to guess who the famous homeowner is.
The show was first broadcast in 1987 and has been intermittently on our UK screens until 2020.

Previous Festivals

The first eFlute Festival (in 2020) ran for a month and was a pioneering online sell-out event which had attendees from over 16 countries worldwide. Our mission was to bring flute players together during COVID-19 lockdown and the event was choc-a-block with world class content. We employed over 40 renowned guest artists and scheduled over 60 classes for players of all ages and standards.
We also held an International Online Solo Flute Competition with numerous categories for performers of all ages and abilities and composers and our final gala concert raised over £1,000 for NHS Charities Together and Help Musicians UK.

With thanks to our competition sponsors All Flutes Plus, Wm S Haynes Flutes, Principal Chairs, Simply Flute and Open College of the Arts.
Our second festival in 2022 was also a roaring sell-out success and included a special programme of ‘30 Artists in 30 Days’ - featuring 30 world renowned flute players, each offering a zoom session of their choice! Guest artists included Ian Anderson, Emmanuel Pahud and many, many more…
Pan Magazine featured an article about the festival which can be read by clicking on the photo below:

Following on from the huge success of our Festivals in 2020 and 2022, we were excited to present The eFlute Mini Festival in July 2024.
Small but mighty, the week was jam-packed with interactive workshops, daily warm-ups, seminars, Artist Q&A’s, flute choir, and competition, as well as live streamed masterclasses and concerts.
