Schedule
Festival Content
*One video will be released every day of the festival. These videos have been made specifically for this event and are recorded by our esteemed guest artists. They will be made up of tutorials, talks, and performances and can be viewed at your leisure.
*Every day of the festival there will be a 15-20 minute morning warm-up. You are welcome to join us live on zoom for this, but it isn’t necessary. The warm-up will be recorded and available all day for you to use before your practice, whatever time best for you.
*At least one ‘live’ class will take place every day of the festival, this may be an interactive workshop, masterclass, seminar, artist Q&A, or a concert. Again, please don’t worry if you can’t make it, where possible we will record the session and make it available to view in your own time.
*We are offering the option of joining ‘study groups’. We’ll provide exercises and repertoire, suggest challenges, and attempt some chamber music! Timings for working in these groups can be arranged to suit you, but we will be on hand to support you throughout the day.
*The forum will be open throughout the festival for any questions, feedback, chatting, and sharing of ideas.
*One-to-one online lessons can be purchased as add-ons throughout the festival. The Syrinx Competition will also be running throughout and has categories for all ages and standards.
*We will have a final concert for anyone who would like to play and for ensembles to be heard, plus flute choir to finish.
