eFlute Festival 2020
April 23rd - May 21st
eFlute Festival 2020 is hosted by Flute School London, a course renowned for its world-class guest artists and encouraging and friendly atmosphere. Our mission is to bring flute players of all ages and standards together during this difficult time and provide a platform for unity, sharing, inspiration and learning. We are aiming to offer all the elements of our usual course, keeping as much of it ‘live’ and as interactive as possible.
How it will work
This is an ambitious project to deliver but we will be making the process very simple and user-friendly. Clear instructions will be emailed and all you’ll need is your flute, a computer and an internet connection!
eFlute Festival 2020 will run for a month, with interactive classes, social activities, online content added daily, and live zoom sessions run by our esteemed Guest Artists.

Flutes Unite
Another key aim of this event is to generate work for our fellow flute players. Many musicians currently risk financial hardship due to recent circumstances. The eFlute team are striving to support our colleagues by including as many of them as possible in this project and the more tickets we sell, the more we can recruit!
We’ll be commissioning artists to perform, teach, and submit videos. We’re also setting up a hardship fund. Please click the link below to find out more:
We will be holding an online competition with the following categories:
Open Class (advanced)
Young Artist (24 & under)
Juniors (18 & under / 12 & under)
Adult Learners/Amateurs
Young Fluters and Fifers
Composers
Junior Festival
The Junior eFlute Festival is suitable for young players of all standards, from beginners to Grade 8+.
Students will have full access to the main festival classes and video bank, but will also have their own live zoom classes twice a week.
There is also a Whizz Kidz module for particularly advanced students.
